The other day trip we did while in Holland was a visit to Zaanse Schans, which has three very Dutch things: windmills, cheese, and clogs. So you can imagine it was very touristy. However, when we went there weren't too many tourists and I didn't mind the touristy feel of it for some reason. Maybe because it was just so dang cute it didn't bother me. We spent a whole day here, we bought some cheese and some hand made soap, and walked around checking out all the cool windmills.
View from the bridge coming in, can you spot the 3 windmills?

Clogs:
We watched this guy make a clog out of a piece of wood, sat in with an Asian tourist group
This guy loved it!
Don't judge us, we had to.

Don't feed the animals!

That's it for Holland, I have to say we enjoyed our day trips to Rotterdam, Breda and Zaanse Schans more than Amsterdam itself, but it was definitely interesting. Next stop: Switzerland!
